Üsküdar University accepted its first students in the 2012-2013 academic year.
Üsküdar University was founded to contribute to society in the field of mental health and to produce solutions to problems. The university aims to provide students with both a good profession and human values with the university-hospital-business partnership model.
On May 25, 1999, the Turkish branch of the American Memory Centers was opened on Bağdat Street in Istanbul. The Memory Center was the first center in Turkey to apply "Brain Control" and "Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
The university has a faculty of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, a faculty of health sciences, a faculty of economics and administrative sciences, and a faculty of design.
